The Twisted Mustard with Apple Glazed Sausages topped with Sauerkraut

Ingredients
  

6 pork sausages

2 cups sauerkraut, drained

Large onion. Thickly cut

Two apples cored, then cut into slices

2 tablespoons of whole-grain mustard

2 tablespoons honey

1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon caraway seeds

Salt and pepper according to your preference

Fresh parsley cut into pieces (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375degF (190degC).

    Place the sauerkraut, onion and slice in the baking dish.

      Place the sausages over sauerkraut and onions.

        Mix the honey, mustard, and apple cider vinegar in a bowl. Mix thoroughly to make the glaze.

          Sprinkle the sausages with the remaining mustard glaze.

            Sprinkle the apple slices and caraway seeds on top of the sausages.

              Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

                Bake in the oven, preheated for about 25 minutes.

                  Remove the sausages from the oven, and then brush the sausages with the remaining glaze.

                    Place the sausages back in the oven to cook for 15 to 20 minutes, a total of 15 minutes, or until the sausages are caramelized and browned.

                      Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
